Full Surah Al Waqiah Read Online

Surah Al Waqiah is the 56th Surah in Quran Kareem. It is a source of hope and optimism for every Muslim. Surat e Waqia is a profound blessing to Allah for all Muslims. It was revealed in Mecca. Waqiah meaning in english “The Inevitable Event“. It is a Surah that should be recited in the evening, especially by those who are in financial trouble.

English Translation

1. When the event occurs
2. There is no lie in its occurrence
3. Lower someone, raise someone
4. When the earth began to shake
5. And let the mountains crumble
6. Then they became dust and started flying
7. You people will be of three types
8. So what are the right-handed people (in China)?
9. And the left-handers (woe), what are the left-handers (arrested punishment).
10. And those who are going to move forward (what should they say) are going to move forward
11. They are close to God
12. In the Paradise of Bliss
13. They will be among the next of many
14. And a little of the past
15. (from Lal and Yakut etc.) on inlaid boards
16. Leaning face to face
17. Young servants who will always remain (in the same state) will move around them
18. That is, by taking water bottles and sun glasses and clear wine glasses
19. This will not cause a headache nor will they lose their minds
20. And fruits of whatever kind they likey
21. And the meat of birds of whatever kind they like
22. And (there are) fair ones with wide, lovely eyes,
23. Like (safely) folded (juicy) pearls
24. This is the reward for what isthey used to do
25. There you will not hear any nonsense or abuse
26. Yes, his word Salam Salam (will be).
27. And the right-handed (Glory be to Allah), what are the right-handed (in luxury)?
28. (i.e.) thornless berries
29. And layer upon layer of nails
30. And long shadows
31. And waterfalls
32. And fruits are abundant (in gardens).
33. Which will never end and no one will stop them
34. And in the highest angels
35. We created them
36. So made them virgins
37. (And husbands’) sweethearts and peers
38. That is, for right-handed people
39. (These) are among the next of many
40. And many of the previous ones
41. And the left-handers (woe), what are the left-handers (in torment).
42. (i.e. of hell) in the lap and boiling water
43. And in the shadow of black smoke
44. (Which) is neither cool nor pleasant
45. These people were lying in luxury before that
46. And the sins were high
47. And they used to say that when we die and become dust and bones (only bones are left), do we have to rise again?
48. And what about our ancestors?
49. Say that indeed the first and last
50. (All) will be collected on one day at the appointed time
51. Then you, O deniers, are misguided!
52. They will eat the trees of Thohar
53. And you will fill your stomach with that
54. And drink boiling water on it
55. And you will drink as a thirsty camel drinks
56. It will be their feast on the Day of Judgement
57. We have created you (even for the first time), so why do you not believe (resurrection) to be true?
58. Look at what (semen) you put (into the wombs of women).
59. Do you make him (man) or do we make him?
60. We have decreed death in you and We are not incapable of it
61. That other people like you should replace you and create you in a world you don’t know
62. And you have known the first birth.  Then why don’t you think?
63. Be careful what you sow
64. So do you grow it or do we?
65. If we want, we can tear it to pieces and you continue to make up stories
66. (saying) We are trapped in a free ransom
67. Rather, we are the unfortunate ones
68. Look at the water you drink
69. Have you sent it down from the cloud or do we send it down?
70. If We want, We can make it salty, then why don’t you give thanks?
71. Look at the fire you take out of the tree
72. Did you create his tree or do we create?
73. We have created it to remind and carry passengers
74. So glorify the name of your Lord
75. Us types of wire destinations
76. And if you understand, this is a great oath
77. That this is a great Quran
78. (which) is (written) in the Book
79. Only those who are pure touch it
80. It has been sent down by the Lord Almighty
81. Do you deny this word?
82. And you make your stipend by denying (it).
83. Well, when the soul reaches the throat
84. And you see (the situation) at that time
85. And We are nearer to him (the dead) than you, but you do not see them
86. So if you are not in someone’s bus
87. So if it is true, why don’t you turn away the soul?
88. Then if he is one of the close ones (of God).
89. So (for him) are rest and fragrant flowers and gardens of bliss
90. And if he is of the right-handed
91. So (it will be said) Salutations to you from those on the right hand
92. And if he is of the deniers astray
93. So (for him) is a feast of boiling water
94. And be admitted to hell
95. It is (certainly correct to be inserted i.e.) Haq Al-Iqeen
96. Therefor (O Muhammad) praise the name of thy Lord, the Tremendous
