Surah Az Zukhruf is the 43rd Surah of the Holy Quran. It’s a very important chapter of the Quran. Surah Az Zukhruf means “THE ORNAMENTS OF GOLD.” Surat e Zukhruf also tells about this divine lesson. This Surah is very much blessed. There are many benefits of reciting Surah Az Zukhruf. Surah Az Zukhruf was revealed in the Holy City of Mecca. Surah Az Zukhruf is a source of guidance for Muslims. Surat Al Zukhruf English Translation

1. Ḥâ-Mĩm.
2. Oath of the Book of Light
3. That We have made it an Arabic Qur’an so that you may understand.
4. And in this great book (i.e. Loh Mahfooz) we have it (written and) of great excellence and wisdom.
5. It is because you are transgressors that we will refrain from admonishing you.
6. And We had sent many prophets among the people before.
7. And no prophet used to come to them, but they mocked him.
8. So We destroyed those who were strong among them, and the condition of the next people passed away.
9. And if you ask them who created the heavens and the earth, they will say that they were created by the All-Mighty and the All-Knowing (God).
10. Who created the earth for you.  And He made paths for you in it so that you may know the way.
11. And who sent down water from the sky with a guess.  Then We revived the dead city with it.  In the same way you will be expelled from the earth.
12. And He who created all kinds of animals and made for you boats and cots on which you ride.
13. So that you may sit on their backs, and when you sit on them, then remember the favor of your Lord and say: Glorified is He who made him subject to us. And we did not have the strength to do it alone.
14. And we are about to return to our Lord.
15. And they appointed offspring for him from among his servants.  Indeed, man is openly ungrateful.
16. Did He Himself take daughters from among His creatures and gave you sons by choosing them?
17. However, when one of them is given the glad tidings of what they have described for God, his face turns black and he is filled with grief.
18. Can she be a daughter (of God) who was brought up in jewels and could not speak in times of strife? 
19. And they appointed daughters (of God) to the angels that they are also servants of God.  Were they present at the time of his birth, their testimony will soon be recorded and they will be interrogated.
20. And they say that if God had willed, we would not have worshiped them.  They have no knowledge of it.  These are just speculations.
21. Or We had given them a book before that, so they took evidence from it.
22. Rather, they said, “We have found our forefathers on a path and we are following in their footsteps.”
23. And in the same way, We did not send a guide before you to any town, but the prosperous people there said, “We found our fathers on a path, and we follow them step by step.”
24. The Prophet said, “Even if I bring you a (religion) that shows you a straighter path than the one on which you found your forefathers, they said, ‘We do not believe in what (religion) you have been sent with.’
25. So We took vengeance on them, so look at what happened to the deniers.
26. And when Abraham said to his father and the people of his people: I am disgusted with what you worship.
27. Yes, He who created me will show me the straight path.
28. And this is what they left behind in their children so that they may turn (to God).
29. The point is that I continued to entertain these disbelievers and their fathers until there came to them a Messenger who spoke the truth and explained clearly.
30. And when the truth (i.e. the Qur’an) came to them, they said, “This is magic and we do not believe in it.”
31. And (they also) said, “Why was this Qur’an not revealed to any of the great men of these two towns (i.e., Makkah and Taif)?”
32. Do these people share the mercy of your Lord?  We divided among them their wealth in the life of this world and raised one over the other so that they might take service from one another, and the mercy of your Lord is better than what they accumulate.
33. And if it had not been for the idea that all people would become one community, We would have made the roofs of their houses of silver for those who disbelieved in God, and the stairs (also) on which they ascend.
34. And the doors of their houses and the thrones on which they lean.
35. And (good) luxuries and luxuries (kardite) and all this is a little of the life of this world.  And the Hereafter with your Lord is for the pious.
36. And whoever closes his eyes to the remembrance of God (i.e. ignores), We appoint over him a devil, then he becomes his companion.
37. And they (the devils) keep preventing them from the path, and they think that they are on the straight path.
38. Even when he comes to us, he will say, “Oh, I wish you and I had the distance of east and west, then you are a bad companion.” 
39. And when you continued to do injustice, today it will not benefit you that you (all) share in the punishment.
40. Can you make the deaf hear or show the way to the blind, and can you guide him who is clearly astray?
41. If We take you up (by giving them death), We will take vengeance on those people.
42. Or (in your lifetime) they will show you those (torments) which We have promised them, We have control over them.
43. So hold fast to what has been revealed to you. Verily, you are on a straight path.
44. And this (Qur’an) is an admonition for you and for your people, and you (people) will soon be questioned.
45. And (O Muhammad, peace be upon him) inquire from our messengers whom We have sent before you.  Did We (God) create other gods besides the Most Merciful to be worshiped?
46. And We sent Musa to Pharaoh and his courtiers with Our signs, and they said, “I am sent by the Lord of the worlds.”
47. When they brought Our signs to them, they laughed at the signs.
48. And the sign We used to show them was greater than the others, and We caught them in punishment so that they would refrain.
49. And they said, O magician, we shall surely be guided by praying to him according to the covenant which your Lord has made with you.
50. So when We removed the punishment from them, they began to break their covenant.
51. And Pharaoh called out to his people and said, “O people, is not the government of Egypt in my hands?”  And these rivers that flow beneath me (are not mine) do you not see?
52. Indeed, I am far better than a person who has no respect and cannot even speak clearly.
53. So why were the gold bracelets not removed on him or (it would have been) that the angels would gather and come with him?
54. Therefore, he killed the intelligence of his people.  And they accepted him.  Indeed, they were disobedient people.
55. When they misled us, we took revenge on them and drowned them all.
56. And made them pass away and made them an example for those who came before them.
57. And when the condition of Mary’s son (Isa) was described, the people of your people were shocked by it.
58. And they said that our God is good or Jesus?  The example they have described of Jesus is just to argue.  The truth is that these people are quarrelsome
59. They were Our servants upon whom We bestowed favor and made them an example (of Our power) for the children of Israel.
60. And if We had willed, We could have made you angels who would dwell in the earth in your place.
61. And they are the sign of resurrection.  So (say, people) do not doubt it and follow me.  This is the straight path.
62. And (say) let not Satan prevent you (from it).  He is your greatest enemy.
63. And when Jesus came with the signs, they said: I have come to you with a book of wisdom.  Also, to explain to you some things in which you are disagreeing.  So fear God and obey what I say.
64. There is no doubt that God is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him.  This is the straight path.
65. Then how many sects broke out of them.  So those who are unjust, theirs will be worse than the torment of a painful day.
66. They are only waiting for the Hour to come upon them suddenly and they will not even be aware of it.
67. (Those who are) friends (among themselves) will be enemies of each other on that day.  But the pious (that they will remain mutual friends).
68. My servant, today you have no fear, nor will you be sad.
69. Those who believed in Our revelations and obeyed.
70. It will be said to them) that you and your wives will enter Paradise with honor (and respect).
71. The era of gold papers and bowls will follow them.  And there will be whatever the soul desires and whatever pleases the eyes (will exist), and (O people of Paradise) you will abide therein forever.
72. And this Paradise, which you have been made the owner of, is the reward of your deeds.
73. There are many fruits for you which you will eat.
74. (And the disbelievers) the sinners will remain forever in the torment of Hellfire.
75. which will not be lightened from them and they will lie down in it in despair
76. And We did not wrong them.  Rather, they used to wrong (themselves)
77. And they will cry, O Lord, let your Lord give us death.  He will say that you will always remain (in the same state).
78. We have come to you with the truth, but you have often been displeased with the truth.
79. (If they have established something, then we are also going to establish something.
80. Do these people think that we do not listen to their hidden words and whispers?  Yes, yes (everyone listens) and our angels write down (all their words) with them.
81. (Say: If there are children of God, I am the (first) one to worship (him).
82. The Lord of the heavens and the earth (and) the Lord of the Throne is free from what they describe.
83. So let them book and play.  Even look at the Day they are promised.
84. And He is the God in the heavens and He is the God in the earth.  And He is wise (and) knowledgeable.
85. And blessed is He to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and all that is in them.  And He has knowledge of the Hour, and to Him you will return.
86. And whomever these people invoke besides God, they have no authority to intercede.  Yes, those who bear witness to the truth with knowledge (they can recommend)
87. And if you ask them who created them, they will say that God created them.  So where do they wander? 
88. And (at times) the Prophet said: O Lord, these are people who do not believe.
89. So turn away from them and say hello. They will know (the end) soon.
