Surah Al Sajdah English Translation
- Alif laam Meem
- There is no doubt that the revelation of this book is from the Lord of all the worlds.
- Do these people say that the Prophet made it from himself (no), but it is right from your Lord, so that you may guide those to whom no guide has come before you, so that they may be guided. Go on.
- It is God who created the heavens and the earth and all that is in them in six days, then ascended the Throne. Apart from him, you have neither a friend nor a recommender. Do you not take advice?
- He manages everything from heaven to earth. Then that one day, the amount of which will be a thousand years according to your calculations. He will ascend (and return) to it.
- This is (God) the Knower of the hidden and the visible (and) the Mighty and the Merciful.
- Who made everything very well (i.e.) created it. And He started the birth of man from clay.
- Then he created his generation from the essence (i.e.) of contemptible water.
- Then He corrected it, then He breathed into it His Spirit and made your ears and eyes and hearts, but you give little thanks.
- And they said, “When we die on the earth, will we be born again?” The fact is that these people are not convinced to go before their Lord.
- Say: The angel of death who has been appointed over you takes possession of your souls, then you will be returned to your Lord.
- And you (be surprised) when you see that the sinners will prostrate themselves before their Lord (and say), O our Lord, we have seen and heard, so send us back (to the world) to do righteous deeds. are going to do.
- And if We had willed, We could have guided everyone. But it has been declared by me that I will fill hell with all the jinns and humans.
- So taste the pleasures (of the Fire) because you had forgotten the coming of that Day (today) when We will also forget you, and taste the pleasures of eternal torment as a punishment for what you used to do.
- Those are the ones who believe in Our verses, that when they are admonished by them, they fall down in prostration and glorify their Lord with praise, and are not proud.
- Their sides are separated from the scorpions (and) they call upon their Lord in fear and hope, and spend from what We have given them.
- No soul knows what cool eyes are hidden for them. This is the reward of what they used to do.
- Can a believer be like a disobedient person? Both cannot be equal.
- For those who believe and do good deeds, there are gardens for them (to live in).
- And those who disobeyed will have hell as their abode, and when they want to leave it, they will be returned to it. And it will be said to them, taste the pleasures of the punishment of Hell, which you believed to be a lie.
- And We will make them taste the punishment of this world besides the great punishment. Perhaps they will return (to us).
- And who is more unjust than a person who is advised by the verses of his Lord, then turns away from them. We are surely going to take revenge on the sinners.
- And We gave Moses the Book, so you should not be in doubt about its meeting, and We made it (or Moses) a guidance for the Children of Israel.
- And We made leaders from among them who guided by Our command. When they were patient and believed in Our verses.
- Verily, your Lord used to differ between them. He will judge on the Day of Judgment.
- Were they not guided by this (order) that We destroyed many nations before them in whose dwelling places they wandered. Surely there are signs in it. So why don’t you listen to this?
- Have they not seen that We send water to the barren land and then produce crops from it, from which their cattle also eat and they themselves also (eat), so why do they not see this?
- And they say, if you are truthful, when will this decision be made?
- Say: On the Day of Judgment, their belief will not benefit the disbelievers, nor will they be respite.
- So turn away from them and wait, they are also waiting.
