Surah As Saff is the 61th Surah of the Holy Quran. It was revealed in the city of Medina. This is a very blessed and beneficial Surah. Surat e Saff meaning in English is “The Ranks”. It serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of sincerity and believe in Allah. It also tells us the mission of Prophet Musa (AS) and Prophet Isa.

English Translation
- Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth glorifies Allah. For He ˹alone˺ is the Almighty, All-Wise.
- O believers! Why do you say things that you do not do?
- God is very disgusted with saying what you do not do.
- Those who fight in the way of God, standing firm as if they were walls of lead, are indeed the beloved of the doers.
- And remember the time when Moses said to his people, “O my people! Why do you persecute me, while you know that I am the messenger of God to you?” So when they turned away, God made their hearts turn away. And God does not guide the disobedient.
- And (remember) when Jesus, the son of Mary, said: “O Children of Israel, I have come to you as a messenger of God, confirming that which came before me, the Torah, and giving good tidings of a Messenger to come after me, whose name will be Ahmad.” When he came to them with clear signs, they said: “This is nothing but clear magic.”
- And who is more unjust than he who, when called, goes to Islam and invents a lie against Allah? And Allah does not guide the unjust people.
- They wish to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light, even though the disbelievers may be averse.
- It is He who sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth, that He may make it prevail over all religions, even though the polytheists may dislike it.
- O you who believe! Shall I inform you of a trade which will save you from a painful punishment?
- (That is) believe in Allah and His Messenger, and strive hard in the way of Allah with your wealth and your lives. That is better for you, if you only knew.
- He will forgive you your sins and admit you to gardens beneath which rivers flow and pure dwellings in the Gardens of Eternity. That is the great achievement.
- And another thing which you desire is help from Allah and victory, and give glad tidings to the believers.
- O you who believe! Be helpers of Allah, as Jesus, the son of Mary, said to the disciples: “Who are my helpers to Allah?” The disciples said: “We are helpers of Allah.” So a party of the Children of Israel believed, and a party disbelieved. Finally, We helped those who believed against their enemy, and they were the victors.
