Surah Al Juma is the 62nd Surah of the Holy Quran. This Surah is very blessed and very close to Muslims. From this surah we get very good events which are very useful in our life. There are innumerable benefits of reciting this Surah. This Surah is named Juma because Its opening verses mention the blessings and importance of Friday. In Surah Juma, Muslims are told about the worship and sanctity of this day. There is a verse of Surat e jumah which indicates that leaving all worldly work as soon as you hear the Friday call Should go for Friday prayer. It was revealed in Medina.

Surah Al Juma English Translation
- All that is in the heavens and all that is on earth glorifies God, the King, the True Pure One, the Mighty Wise.
- And it is He Who sent (Muhammad) from among the educated ones as a Prophet who recites His verses to them and purifies them and teaches them the Book (of God) and wisdom. And before that, these people were in clear error.
- And (sent them) among them and to people who have not yet met them (Muslims). And He is All-Wise.
- It is the grace of God that He bestows on whom He wills. And God is the possessor of great grace.
- The likeness of those on whom the Torah was brought (on their heads) but did not take it up (to obey it) is like a donkey on which huge books are loaded. Those who deny the revelations of God have a bad example. And God does not guide the wrongdoers.
- Say: O Jews, if you claim that you are the friends of God and not the people, then if you are truthful, then wish for death
- And they will never desire it because of what they have done. And God is well aware of the wrongdoers
- Say that the death which you avoid will come before you. Then you will be returned to the Knower of the Unseen and the Unseen (God) then He will inform you of all that you used to do.
- Believers! When the call to prayer is given on Friday, hasten to the remembrance of God (i.e. prayer) and refrain from (buying) and selling. If you understand, it is better for you.
- Then when the prayer is over, take your own way and seek God’s grace and remember God a lot so that you may be saved.
- And when these people see a bargain or spectacle taking place, they run away and leave you standing. Say: What is with God is better than spectacle and bargain, and God is the best provider of sustenance.
