Full Surah Adh Dhariyat Read Online

Surah Adh Dhariyat is the 51st Surah of the Holy Quran. This Surah is a very important Surah in itself. This surah tells us about the power of Allah and the things He has created for us innumerable blessings. The title Adh Dhariyat means in English “THE WINNOWING WINDS”. His verses inspire us about many things. We should recite this surah daily.

Surah Al Dhariyat English Translation

1. The kind of scatterers who blow and scatter
2. Then they carry the load (of water)
3. Then they walk slowly
4. Then they divide things
5. That what is promised to you is true
6. And justice (the day) will surely happen.
7. And by the sky in which there are ropes.
8. That (O people of Makkah) you are (lying) in a contradictory matter.
9. He turns away from Him who is turned away (by God).
10. Perish those who run at it.
11. Those who are forgotten in ignorance
12. They ask when will be the Day of Judgment?
13.  (It will happen) on the Day when they will be punished in the Fire. 
14. Now taste your wickedness.  This is what you used to hasten for.
15. Verily, the pious will be (rejoicing) in gardens and fountains.
16. And) they will be taking whatever (blessings) their Lord gives them.  Verily, they used to do good deeds before that.
17. They used to sleep in a small part of the night.
18. And sometimes they used to ask for forgiveness at dawn.
19. And in their wealth, the beggar and the non-beggar (both) had a right.
20. And there are (many) signs in the earth for those who believe.
21. And don’t you see it in your souls? 
22. And your sustenance and that which you are promised is in heaven.
23. So by the Lord of the heavens and the earth!  It is (as) trustworthy as you speak. 
24. Has the news of Abraham’s honored guests reached you?  
25. When he came to them, he greeted them. They also (in response) said greetings (when they saw) such people that they neither know nor recognize.
26. So he went to his house and brought a (roasted) fatted calf.
27. (and to eat) placed before them.  They said, “Why don’t you eat?”
28. And he feared them in his heart.  (He) said that do not be afraid.  And also gave them the good news of a wise boy.
29. Then Abraham’s wife came screaming and beat her mouth and said, “O one is fertile and (the other) barren.” 
30. (They) said (Yes) your Lord has said so.  Indeed, He is wise (and aware).
31. Abraham said: Angel!  What is your defendant?
32. He said: We have been sent to a sinful people.
33. so that they may be pierced with daggers
34. Those who have been marked by your Lord for those who transgressed
35. So We took out as many believers as were there
36. And no house of Muslims was found in it except one house.
37. And He left a sign there for those who fear the torment of the torment.
38. And in the case of Moses (there is also a sign) when We sent him to Pharaoh with an open miracle.
39. So he turned his back on the boasting of his party and said: Is this a magician or a madman?
40. So We captured him and his armies and threw them into the river, and that was the only deed that was blameworthy.
41. And (there is a sign) in the case of “Ad (the people of “Aad) when We blew upon them an unblessed wind.]
42. She does not leave anything she walks on without crumbling.
43. And (there is a sign) in (the state of) Thamud when it was said to them: Take advantage for a time.
44. So they disobeyed the order of their Lord.  So lightning caught them and they were watching.
45. Then they neither had the strength to get up nor could they resist. 
46. And before that (we destroyed) the people of Noah, indeed they were a disobedient people.
47. And We created the heavens with our own hands, and We have all power.
48. And We have spread the earth, (see) how well we spread it.
49. And We have made two kinds of everything, so that you may be admonished.
50. So run to God, I am about to show you a clear path from Him
51. And do not make anyone else a god along with God.  I am the one who will show you the clear path on his behalf.
52. Similarly, the Prophet who came to the people before him was called a magician or a madman.
53. Is it that they have been bequeathing to each other the same thing? Rather, they are wicked people.
54. So excuse them. You will not be reprimanded by (us).
55. And continue to give advice, for advice benefits the believers.
56. And I have created the jinn and the humans to worship Me
57. I do not seek sustenance from them, nor do I want them to feed me (food).
58. God is the Sustainer, Mighty and Strong.
59. There is no doubt that the turn (of punishment) has been fixed for these wrongdoers, just like the turn of their companions, so they should not seek (punishment) from me hastily.
